Text File IO for Non-uniform Data script description:

Publisher review:
Text File IO for Non-uniform Data takes a non-uniform text file and imports it similar to Excel import function. If you have a program that is outputting a data file with headers and blank lines, and if the exact order and location of those headers and blank lines varies from data set to data set, then it might be nice to read in a data file similar to how Excel does it. Each delimitted object, whether an ascii text object or an ascii numeric object, will get its own cell in a Matrix.

I couldn't find how to do this simply, so I figured out how to do it with this little code. This is a quick way to sort out a file. It seems like there should be an easier way to so this, but I couldn't figure it out. If you have any advice on easier/faster solutions, please let me know. Requirements: ยท MATLAB Release: R12
